A world's leading Insurance firmn is looking for a talented Lead Platform Specialist.

 

Responsibilities

- You will have the opportunity to work in a community that is leading the Digital transformation including exciting technology opportunities with cloud, including infrastructure as code, and software delivery pipelines.

- As the Platform Specialist, within the Cloud Broker Team you will work with development and operations teams to solve operational issues

- You will be responsible to create tools, processes, and systems that improves overall operational reliability and resilience.

- You will work as a hybrid software developer who will develop infrastructure codes, works on operations admin, and manages general problems.

- You will also have strong focus on supporting engineering teams with expert guidance and tools on the Cloud Platform to deliver frequent, high quality and reliable components.

Required Skills

- Understanding of code versioning tools, including Git and/or Subversion.

- Understanding of infrastructure automation such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet etc.

- Understanding of network technologies such as DNS, Router, Load balancer, Firewall etc.

- Understanding of container based virtualization technology such as Docker, Rocket etc. .

- Understanding of container orchestration software such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, Mesos
