A Global Digital Marketing Solutions Company is looking for an experienced System Architect Director
.
You will work with the product department to understand business requirements and requirements, translate them into technical requirements and technical requirements, and work with the engineering team, network and infrastructure team and security to deliver the optimum system design and infrastructure configuration.
Responsibilities:
- In the context of system integration with expanding retail and business partners in the future, the role
will involve working with engineers and PMs on non-functional requirements, particularly in the areas of availability, operation and maintainability, to define the required levels of availability, operation and maintainability, and to develop the actual system and infrastructure based on these requirements. Deliver the actual system and infrastructure together with engineers.
- We not only advise and present high-level system configuration and design policies, but also work with infrastructure, software and data engineers to support delivery at a level that goes into the actual design and configuration.
- Participate in the review and revision of existing systems with engineers, not only for new system linkages that may arise in the future, but also for existing systems, and provide hands-on support in the formulation of improvement and enhancement policies for each, as well as actual configuration and construction.
- In the event of any system failures, report the details to stakeholders, senior management and, in some cases, the client in an easy-to-understand manner.
- When large-scale infrastructure configuration changes, architecture design changes, etc., other than system failures, report to stakeholders and senior management in an easy-to-understand manner on the background, purpose, expected costs, etc.
- Participate in daily conversations with system and DevOps engineers to provide hands-on level support on system, infrastructure architecture and application architecture.
- Standardise the delivery process for non-functional requirements and apply it to future development projects in coordination with the engineering department to deliver appropriate system quality.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years' experience in software design, development or infrastructure design and build
- 5+ years' experience in infrastructure and system delivery using Azure
- High availability required using Azure. Experience in system and architecture design, delivery and operation
- Experience coordinating and leading engineering work in English
- Ability to logically organise issues, identify causes and solve complex technical problems with concrete and realistic solutions.
- Ability to explain system and technical matters clearly to the business side
- Understanding of Japanese business culture and the required standards for system quality
- Experience in the development and delivery of high availability systems
- Willingness to proactively deal with challenges even in uncertain and changing circumstances
- Willingness to assist others when perceived business needs are lacking without sticking to a defined JD
