Description
Skillhouse is seeking an experienced IT Department Head. This position will lead the application, infrastructure, and security teams (approximately 25 people) and report directly to the CTO.
The client is one of the world's leading investment firms with multiple subsidiaries in different industries, managing over $40 billion in assets and over 25 years of operational experience.
Currently, the team consists of members in Japan, but due to recent restructuring and hiring, the company is becoming more international, so speaking English would be very advantageous. Under the direction of the CTO, you will be responsible for leading multiple IT teams with at least 3 managers as reporting lines.
Required Skills:
- Experience as an IT Manager, Head of IT, or CTO/CIO.
- Experience managing large teams of at least 25 people.
- Experience or certification in infrastructure and security is a plus.
- Experience in offshore or onshore application development or management preferred
- Ability to communicate with vendors, key stakeholders, and C-suite level executives to achieve the company's vision. Ability to manage budgets is also a plus.
