A Securities firm affiliated with one of Japan's leading megabanks is seeking a Business Analyst .

Responsibilities:
- The desired Business Analyst will analyze business needs related to fixed income cash and repo trading and derivatives trading, and assist in proposing and implementing effective IT solutions. He/she will work with traders and risk managers to optimize business processes and clarify system requirements.
- Specifically, he/she will work within the Financial Markets IT team of the Global IT Control Division to provide IT services to the front, middle, and back office users of the Global Markets Division. 
- Analyze business processes and IT systems for all aspects of fixed income trading
- Gathering and documenting user requirements
- Gap analysis to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Work with IT project teams to assist in system design and implementation
- Creation of test cases and execution of tests
- Facilitate communication between users and system development teams

Required Skills:
- Experience working as a business analyst (defining requirements, creating process maps, designing work flows, etc.)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in securities and financial systems development
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of fixed income products (cash, interest rate swaps, options, futures, etc.) and fixed income trading (trading methodologies, regulatory requirements, electronic trading platforms, trading algorithms, regulatory requirements, etc.)
- Project management and process improvement skills

Working hours: 8:40 am to 5:10 pm (7 hours and 30 minutes of regular working hours with a 60-minute break)        
Working style: Hybrid (attendance required depending on the nature of the work)
